Suryakumar’s innings was backed up by a brilliant all-round performance from India’s attack, whose seamers challenged South Africa on both the inside and outside edge and whose spinners found grip and turn.Kuldeep Yadav, on his 29th birthday, finished with a career-best 5 for 17, he took all his wickets in the space of 12 balls, and subjected South Africa to their third biggest T20I defeat while batting second. By the time Kuldeep was introduced into the attack, in the 10th over, South Africa’s chase was all but over. They were 66 for 4 with only one specialist batter left in David Miller and had to score at more than 12 runs an over.That their task was that daunting was thanks to Suryakymar, who shared in a 112-run third wicket partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, and played an audacious innings at a high-altitude ground. He hit eight of India’s 12 sixes, and seven fours while Jaiswal contributed 60 off 41 balls, his third half-century in 14 T20I innings. The pair laid the platform for India to go well above 200, though they did not need that much.Maharaj Magic India were off to a flier with 29 runs from the first two overs and Aiden Markram had to turn to his most reliable bowler – Keshav Maharaj – in the Powerplay. Can’t score off Siraj Mohammed Siraj started with two slips as he went searching for Reeza Hendricks’ outside edge and sent down four terrific outswingers in pursuit. Hendricks was beaten on each occasion and, sensing he was getting closer and perhaps remembering what happened in Gqeberha when he didn’t have enough protection, Siraj put a third slip in. His fifth ball also teased Hendricks as he defended and missed again. Then came another plan: an extra fielder on the off side with a massive gap through mid-wicket, inviting Hendricks to try and pull. Siraj bowled length outside off, Hendricks half-attempted the shot and the ball snuck under the blade of the bat to end a perfect over from Siraj. He was stationed at mid-on, when Hendricks hit the ball to him, was called through for a single and was caught short of his ground when Siraj’s direct hit broke the stumps.All but over either side of the PowerplayMarkram and Heinrich Klaasen are the kind of batters who could score at more than 10 runs an over to win a T20I match but needed to navigate through a wily Indian attack. Arshdeep Singh’s slower ball had Klaasen sweeping hard but not well enough to get past deep midwicket and he was caught by Rinku Singh on the boundary. Arshdeep now has 26 T20I wickets this year, the joint-most among Full Member bowlers alongside Mark Adair. Ravindra Jadeja, leading the team Suryakumar off the field nursing a bruised leg, brought himself on immediately after the Powerplay, his first ball gripped in the surface and Markram top-edged a pull to Jaiswal. South Africa were 42 for 4 in the seventh over and their challenge was all but complete.Man-alone MillerJadeja should have had David Miller in his next over, when he found the outside edge with a delivery that went straight on and Jitesh Sharma took the catch behind the wicket but Miller was given not out on-field and DRS was not working at the time. Replays later showed Miller had hit the ball and should have been out for 18. He went on to score 35 but India got their revenge with the other batters. Donovan Ferreira, Phehlukwayo and Maharaj were dismissed in each of the next three overs as Miller could only watch the series win move further away. He was the last batter dismissed, in the 14th over.

Muito da sua falta de sequência chegou a ser justificada pelos momentos que viveu na Ucrânia, antes de chegar ao Timão.
A última vez que entrou em campo foi em agosto, contra o Atlético-GO, pela Copa do Brasil. Na ocasião, ficou somente seis minutos em campo. E desde então, não jogou mais. Naturalizado como ucraniano, chegou com fortes expectativas, pelo que era visto no Shakhtar Donetsk – sua última equipe antes do Timão. Mas não cumpriu com o que era esperado. O atleta também sofreu com uma lesão no joelho, que também atrapalhou seu rendimento.

Róger Guedes
Artilheiro do Corinthians no ano, com 15 gols marcados e seis assistências, foi decisivo em diversos momentos.O camisa 10 balançou as redes contra o Fluminense, na semifinal da Copa do Brasil, contra o Palmeiras no Campeonato Paulista… Foi um dos principais nomes do elenco alvinegro em 2022. Por muitos momentos, inclusive, foi visto como o ‘destaque técnico’ da equipe de Vítor Pereira, mas também lidou com alguns períodos mais instáveis.

Talvez um dos marcos que tenha mais chamado atenção neste quesito foi a polêmica com o próprio VP. Na ocasião, o atacante estaria descontente com o rodízio de jogadores que o ex-técnico do Timão costumava adotar. No primeiro jogo da final da Copa do Brasil, teria se incomodado ao ser substituído aos 23 minutos do segundo tempo. Mas é possível afirmar que, mesmo com estas questões pontuais, o camisa 10 foi um dos grandes nomes da temporada 2022 no ataque corintiano.

Começou a temporada bem, fez o gol de empate no clássico do Corinthians com o São Paulo – no primeiro turno do Brasileirão… Contou com boas participações, mas deixou a desejar em outros momentos.

Mas como um todo, teve regularidade na temporada, sendo útil ao elenco. Atuando como um ponta, conseguiu administrar uma posição complicada no Corinthians, justamente por falta de opções.

A última vez que esteve em campo foi em outubro, contra o Flamengo na final da Copa do Brasil. O fim de temporada do camisa 28 foi marcado por uma crise de apendicite.

Yuri Alberto
Um dos grandes acontecimentos do Corinthians neste ano. O camisa 9 chegou emprestado pelo Zenit, da Rússia, e foi considerado até mesmo pela Gaviões da Fiel como uma ‘grata surpresa’.

Yuri Alberto guarda boas estatísticas. No Brasileirão, onde o Timão terminou na quarta colocação, foi o segundo melhor da equipe em finalizações (22 certas) e o vice-artilheiro (8 gols). Ao todo, disputou 20 rodadas da competição.

Na temporada, desde quando chegou em julho, foram 11 gols marcados – estando somente atrás de Roger Guedes, com 15. Mas é importante destacar que, na teoria, jogou meia temporada a menos que o artilheiro, o que chama atenção quando se toma como ponto de análise. A chegada de Yuri Alberto foi um grande alívio para o Corinthians, que desde Sylvinho, aspirava pela chegada de um camisa 9.

A contratação de Yuri Alberto pode ser vista, inclusive, como uma das grandes prioridades do Corinthians para o próximo ano. Conforme o LANCE! adiantou, o clube vive em uma ‘força-tarefa’ para comprar o jogador.

Com apenas 18 anos, chegou a atuar em poucos jogos sob o comando de VP – estando presente em 16 ao todo. Em julho, o Corinthians pagou R$ 3 milhões ao Capivariano pela compra do jovem atacante. Desta forma, deve ser mais aproveitado na próxima temporada.

Gustavo Mosquito
Cresceu muito em participação após a saída de Mantuan – que era o ponta titular de VP e fazia uma boa temporada.

Desta forma, passou a ser mais participativo no elenco alvinegro durante a temporada, com cinco gols marcados e cinco assistências. Ganhando regularidade, foi surpreendido por uma lesão logo na reta final do Brasileirão.

O camisa 19 rompeu o ligamento cruzado anterior do joelho direito em outubro, com um prazo de recuperação estimado entre seis e nove meses.

Mantuan
Com o goleiro Ivan, se envolveu na negociação ao Zenit que possibilitou a vinda de Yuri Alberto, se despedindo do clube em julho.

Até então, fazia uma boa temporada pela equipe, titular na posição aos 21 anos. Em seis meses, já havia anotado cinco gols e uma assistência, nas 31 partidas que disputou.

Willian
Atualmente no Fullham, a saída do ponta e sua passagem pelo Corinthians foi cercada de polêmicas. Seu último jogo pelo Timão foi em agosto, na derrota por 1 a 0 diante do Flamengo, na partida de volta das quartas de final da Libertadores.

O meia-atacante tinha contrato com o clube alvinegro até o final de 2023, mas questões familiares e pessoais foram essenciais para sua rescisão. Tudo começou em abril, quando o atleta e suas filhas receberam ameaças virtuais após a derrota para o Always Ready, da Bolívia, na estreia da Libertadores. Houve até mesmo abertura de Boletim de Ocorrência e identificação do infrator.

Willian era visto como uma boa promessa, muito pela sua experiência na Europa, mas seu rendimento não foi como o esperado por todo o ‘quase’ um ano que vestiu a camisa do Corinthians. Somando as duas passagens, teve 86 jogos e três gols marcados pelo Timão.

بداية الأهلي لم تكن موفقة حيث سقط في فخ التعادل أمام مودرن سبورت، في اللقاء الذي أقيم أمس على أرضية استاد القاهرة الدولي بهدفين لكل فريق.

افتتح الأهلي التسجيل في الدقيقة 49 عبر أحمد رضا برأسية متقنة بعد عرضية من زيزو، قبل أن يدرك حسام حسن التعادل لمودرن سبورت في الدقيقة 58.

وفي الدقيقة 74 تقدم علي الفيل لمودرن سبورت برأسية قوية، لكن الأهلي رد سريعًا بعد دقيقتين فقط عن طريق ياسين مرعي من كرة رأسية بعد ركنية نفذها زيزو.

بهذه النتيجة حصد الأهلي ومودرن سبورت أول نقطة لهما في الموسم، ليتواجدا في المركزين الرابع والخامس على الترتيب.

ويأتي التعادل ليسجل رقمًا سلبيًا للأهلي في انطلاقة الدوري الجديد حيث تُعد المرة الأولى التي يفشل فيها الأهلي في تحقيق الفوز في أولى جولات الدوري منذ 6 سنوات.

وكانت آخر مرة تعثر فيها الأهلي، بالجولة الأولى موسم 2018-2019 عندما تعادل مع الإسماعيلي بهدف لكل منهما، لكنه تمكن من الفوز باللقب في النهاية.

علق سعد شلبي المدير التنفيذي للنادي الأهلي، على وجود حريق داخل فرع مدينة نصر، موضحًا حقيقة وجود خسائر نتيجة الواقعة.

وقال سعد شلبي في تصريحات للمركز الإعلامي لـ الأهلي، أنه لا توجود أي خسائر على الإطلاق عقب الحريق “البسيط” الذي نشب قبل ساعات بمطعم فرع مدينة نصر.

ووجه المدير التنفيذي لـ النادي الأهلي إدارات المطاعم بضرورة اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية، لاسيما مع تزامن ارتفاع درجات الحرارة.

Karachi Kings have been dealt a double blow ahead of their opening fixture of PSL 2024, learning that two of their overseas players have limited availability. Tabraiz Shamsi, the South Africa wristspinner, will miss the second half of the tournament, while English allrounder Jamie Overton has been withdrawn from the entire season.ESPNcricinfo has confirmed that CSA has only issued NOCs to players for a limited period because they need to be back home for the domestic T20 which starts on March 8. Shamsi, who is a crucial part of South Africa’s limited-overs squads, is required by the board to return home to participate in the domestic T20 competition and will depart the PSL on March 6.For Karachi Kings, Shamsi’s partial unavailability leaves them scrambling for a late replacement; Kings had, until now, believed the player would be available for the whole tournament.Shamsi is expected to feature for Kings in their first six games of the season, starting with their fixture against Multan Sultans on Sunday, but will be unavailable for the business end of the tournament. He has spent the winter playing T20 cricket for Adelaide Strikers in the BBL and Gulf Giants in the ILT20, and suffered a minor shoulder injury at the ILT20.Surrey’s decision means Overton will miss out on another opportunity to push his credentials for inclusion in England’s T20 World Cup squad after an impressive recent run in short-form cricket, which included being named MVP in the men’s Hundred last summer. He is uncapped in limited-overs internationals and won his only Test cap to date in June 2022.These latest withdrawals have further weakened an underwhelming pool of overseas players at this year’s PSL. Os torcedores do Vitória viveram uma Série C de grandes emoções em 2022. De um quadro de quase rebaixamento, o time baiano conseguiu uma reviravolta que poucos esperavam e, de forma histórica, alcançou o acesso à Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro. Tal feito não ficará marcada apenas nas memórias dos rubro-negros.

Isto porque o técnico João Burse, o comandante responsável pela guinada do time na competição, lançou, no dia 29 de dezembro, um livro sobre o acesso da equipe. A obra, intitulada “A Mão de Deus – Do rebaixamento ao acesso” e que foi redigida por Arthur Vavaqua, revela os bastidores das 14 partidas comandadas por Burse e toda a atmosfera que tomou conta do clube na reta final do campeonato.

– Vivemos algo tão especial que não poderíamos deixar apenas na memória. O livro é a materialização de uma realização que não foi só minha, mas também dos jogadores, da diretoria e, principalmente, dos torcedores, que foram cruciais na nossa caminhada. Estamos muito felizes por esse lançamento e também pelo sucesso que vem sendo – , celebrou o treinador.

João Burse assumiu o time com oito jogos a serem disputados na primeira fase e, com cinco vitórias e três empates obtidos, classificou o Leão à segunda fase. No quadrangular final, somou dois triunfos, três empates e apenas um revés e subiu a equipe. O rendimento da equipe sob seu comando o fez renovar o contrato e ser o treinador do Vitória para a temporada de 2023.

– Com um tempo de trabalho maior e já conhecendo o melhor os atletas, a expectativa é que façamos um grande 2023. Trabalhamos firme durante toda a pré-temporada, estamos nos preparando há mais de um mês para fazer um bom papel nas competições que vamos disputar. Primeiro, conseguir a classificação para a Copa do Nordeste e depois iniciar bem o Campeonato Baiano -, destaca o treinador, sobre o ano de 2023 do Vitória.
