Now, a fresh report from Spain [Via Sport Witness] has revealed that Newcastle have joined a gaggle of clubs keeping a close eye on Yeremay Hernandez, who is currently starring with Deportivo de La Coruña in the Spanish second division.

Dubbed a “baller” by Rising Stars XI on X, the 21-year-old winger has scored seven goals and grabbed three assists so far this season. Despite Deportivo being firmly in the bottom half of the division, it is claimed that the forward’s form has caught the eye. As per the report, Newcastle are one of the sides eyeing a potential move, though they are far from alone.

Wednesday faring well in the Championship

After flirting with relegation and finishing just three points above the relegation places in the previous campaign, Wednesday have really kicked on in the Championship this season, sitting in 11th place, just four points adrift of the play-offs.

It has been a relatively quiet month for Wednesday, with one of the only major developments coming in the form of Shea Charles being recalled by parent club Southampton.

Since then, rumours the midfielder could cross the Sheffield divide have emerged, with United boss Chris Wilder confirming the Blades’ interest is very real.

However, a promising update has now been dropped by reliable reporter Alan Nixon (via Football League World), who states Sheffield Wednesday have submitted a new and improved loan offer for Charles.

The Saints are willing to sanction the 21-year-old’s departure on loan if they receive a significant offer, and the Owls’ latest proposal is believed to be worth more than the Blades’.

As such, a return to Hillsborough is the more likely scenario as things stand, with Wednesday moving ahead of their rivals in the race for the youngster’s signature.

O mandatário corintiano evitou projetar uma continuidade do meia Maycon, que tem se destacado desde o seu retorno ao Timão, há pouco mais de um mês, mas não descartou o desejo de fazer uma investida para compra em definitivo do atleta. O meia está emprestado pelo Shakhtar Donetsk, da Ucrânia, país que está com o futebol suspenso, pois vive confito armado com a Rússia desde fevereiro.

– (Maycon é) Um grande jogador, foi formado aqui, voltou muito bem e está nos ajudando muito. Lógico que a gente que permanecer com ele, mas é muito cedo, temos contrato de empréstimo até o fim do ano. Se a gente tiver oportunidades, vontade do jogador, valores envolvidos seja viável, temos vontade.

Mesmo com o vínculo de cessão sendo até o fim do ano, os direitos de Maycon seguem do Shakhtar, que pode negociar o atleta quando quiser, inclusive na janela de transferências do meio deste ano, que abre no dia 1º de julho. O Corinthians não teria direito a compensação financeira alguma, somente a possibilidade de cobrir a oferta. Mas como os ucranianos entendem que o meia tem mercado na Europa, caso essa proposta do Velho Continente chegue dificilmente o Timão terá dinheiro para cobrir.

O Corinthians trabalha com uma engenharia financeira onde é otimista que Maycon fique até o fim do ano, e quando a temporada se encerrar uma estrutura seria levantada para avaliar a situação monetária do clube e o quanto seria possível viabilizar a compra em definitivo do camisa 5.

BOCA E ARBITRAGEM

Duílio viu com naturalidade o fato do Boca Juniors, da Argentina. entregar aos árbitros kits com camisas à equipe de arbitragem antes do jogo contra o Always Ready, da Bolívia, na última rodada da Libertadores. O clube argentino será o próximo adversário do Timão na Liberta, no próximo dia 17 de maio, na Bombonera.

– Eu vi como normal, são kits, camisas. Isso é normal, entre clubes, torcedores e também presentear árbitro. Espero que tenha uma ótima arbitragem, campeonato importante, e isso não é o que preocupa. O que temos que reclamar é a ausência de VAR nesta fase. É uma competição importante no continente – destacou Duílio.

Os dois times já se cruzaram no Brasil, com vitória corintiana por 2 a 0, na Neo Química Arena, com os dois gols marcados justamente por Maycon.

O camisa 10 se machucou em lance de dividida com o zagueiro Léo Ortiz e o meia Danilo. Neymar sentiu muitas dores no pé direito, o mesmo que já foi lesionado em 2018 e 2019, e saiu de campo acompanhado do médico Rodrigo Lasmar.

De acordo com o médico, ainda não dá para definir a situação de Neymar e se ele terá condições de jogo. Rodrigo Lasmar ainda contou que o pisão sofrido pelo astro não tem ligação com a antiga lesão do quinto metatarso.
